The day when I got my rank; after the completion of Pre commissioned course ; has really changed my life. Since my childhood days, I found the "Uniform" worn by the army officers as a blessing upon them by that almighty God and always wished to have that uniform in my life too. Someone has rightly said that " if u want to have something in your life then dream for it in every second of your life and then nature will create such circumstances that will lead you towards the attainment of your that goal, desire or destination". So actually I did the same way and my destiny gave me a chance to undergo a training at NCC OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY at Gwalior under the commandship of 8 Punjab Batallion NCC Phagwara. After the completion of this PRCN Course the closing ceremony and a farewell was organised by the academy to bestow ranks to all the trainees. To my surprise my name was announced for the top position of this course , a gold medal and a DGNCC plaque of honour was given to me. My thirst for the Uniform really worked very well and my name was written on a board with other trainees (who scored first positions during their course periods in the history , prior to my year of training) and this board is still hanging in the mess of that academy where my name will be seen by all other trainees who will visit this academy for their trainings. Indeed it was a great achievement that has made my name and to me an immortal.
The day when I first wore this army uniform after my course, I was really feeling two inches taller than my height. I observe that after wearing this uniform, I use to transform to an another personality. But this is a great feeling and inexpressible experience.
I love this uniform and the stars on my uniform, as I earned these after a great hard work .
REALLY THERE IS SOMETHING IN "THE UNIFORM"
